If you just can't get to Denver tonight, find one of the towns in Colorado with a hotel. I think you'd rather see the pretty part in the daytime. There are quite a few dots in the road between state line and Denver, and i think it's gonna take ya'll longer to get there than you realize. Might be wise to find one earlier on, get good rest and see Colorado in the daylight going into Denver. Just a thought. Plot how far it is in driving time from Denver to Salt Lake City, so you know if you decide to stay over there, you can get up and head in Friday.
